Internet for 18+

Today we had the topic: Should be internet only for adults ?

I think that's stupid because in the modern world it's normal to have a smartphone and/or a notebook as a teenager. But also I think internet is nothing for little children because it's to dangerous and they don't know the risks of the social media.

I think the perfect age to start with internet is 10-12.

A good possability for a safe surfing is to make a internet-licens at school.

Amanda Todd

I think you know that cyber bullying is a very big problem in our modern world.

In the last lesson we watched a film which is very famous  I think it's about Amanda Todd and her problems with cyber bullying, because of that she had kill herself(When you don't know the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXxnPzrmE70 ) Our exercise was to write down our feelings during watching the video.

I don't write down my feelings I write down questions which were in my head:

1.Why do people do this ?

2.Why couldn't anybody help her ?

3.What were the teachers doing?

Maybe you can watch the video too and tell me your feelings or questions.

The Circle

Today we read some scenes of the book ,,The Circle"

There were two projects which were presented by two people. They could presented it so good that the audience are very intrested in the product although they aren't perfect.

The question of the Day is: Would you like that ,,The Circle" exist in real ?

I think when the Circle would exist in real life it would be illegal because the products could spy others out and they haven't any privacy anymore.

I think the book is very interesting. Maybe you can buy it and read it :)

Comment the Cartoon
There are five men walking from the left to the right hand side and each of them is busy with words. On the left in the Stone Age he uses a stone and chisels the first written word. The second man is working with the first printing machine in the Middle Ages. Then the development of the media of communication is illustrated in three more steps: the mass publication of books, followed by e-mail and twitter in our modern time. The cartoon links communication over the whole history of mankind, and shows how communication changed through the centuries. Modern man uses only a limited number of characters, he has no more to say. Today it is only tweet,tweetwhile on the climax of mass publication people really could read whole books with many more letters. So the cartoonist critizises our modern communication, describing it as poor and limited. I think he's right because we use a huge number of abbreviations such as: Lol,Yolo or MfG. In addition we don't address people in e-mails anymore or we don't make complete or correct sentences. So I agree completely with the message of the cartoonist and I think it is a well drawn cartoon.
